1. Selection and Preparation of Cotton

The process begins with selecting high-quality 94-count cotton fibres.

2. Spinning of Yarn

The cleaned cotton fibres are spun into yarn using traditional spinning wheels
or modern spinning machines. The yarn is wound onto bobbins or spindles,
preparing it for weaving.

3. Dyeing of Yarn

The cotton yarn is dyed using chemical non- reactive dyes, depending on the
design requirement. The dyed yarn is thoroughly washed and dried to ensure
colour fastness and uniform shades.

4. Warping

Warping involves arranging the yarn lengthwise according to the required saree
length and width.

5. Weaving on Handloom

The actual weaving is done on a handloom operated manually by skilled weavers.
The warp yarns are stretched on the loom, and the weft yarns are interlaced
using hand-controlled mechanisms to form the fabric. Traditional motifs,
borders, and patterns are created during this stage.

6. Cutting and Finishing

Once weaving is complete, the fabric is cut into saree lengths. Finishing
processes such as washing, starching, and ironing are done to enhance softness,
texture, and appearance.

7. Quality Inspection and Packaging

Each saree comes to Blouson's hub and undergoes careful inspection for defects,
uniformity, and durability. After inspection, the sarees are neatly folded,
labelled, and packaged for sale.
